The Arctic Foxes began under the Airport Amateur Hockey Association when the Airport Ice Arena opened in Moon Township in 1995. The Island Sports Center opened on Neville Island in 1998, and the organization relocated to that rink in 2000. The association became the Arctic Foxes Hockey Association and thereby kept the Arctic Foxes nickname.
With 3 ice surfaces during the winter months -- including a 1,200-seat arena -- the Foxes play out of one of the largest rinks in the region. In turn, they are also one of the largest organizations in the PAHL.
