Team Placement

PAHL Placement Committee

The PAHL Placement Committee was started in the 1999-2000 season and is comprised of five to eight volunteers.  The committee members collectively provide unbiased analysis using player histories and preseason game results to sort each PAHL age category into competitive divisions.  The goal of the placement process is to provide competitive games for all teams in order to maximize the competitive experience for all players.

The committee maintains a centralized database of all players in the PAHL, specifically tracking each player’s roster placement each season.  This database is a vital tool for the Placement Committee, and the PAHL has invested in a project to enhance the efficiency and application of that database through new technology.
